G.T. College was founded in 1996. It started as a non-profit charitable primary school and has grown into a school with both primary and secondary section under the direct subsidy scheme. The founding body of G.T. College is the Gifted Education Council of Hong Kong, a charitable organization which has served the Hong Kong community through gifted education since 1988.
